I have been enthralled with photography ever since I found my fathers unused camera when I was in grade school. I photographed my neighborhood friends and family, and read every photography book I could find. “I fell in love with the photography of Henri Cartier-Bresson and Andre Kertesz, and tried to duplicate their style.I could barely wait until I picked up the black and white prints from the neighborhood drug store.”
I studied Advertising Design at the University of Florida and graduated from Eckerd College with a degree in Visual Art. I used film cameras, Minolta, Leica, Nikon and Cannon most of my life and taught myself to develop prints in a darkroom. I immediately took to my first digital camera, a Cannon 20D, years ago. I currently use a Sony mirrorless cameras and lenses.
